Some new scrappy work :)

I have been slacking on blogging but I have been doing things LOL... here is some of my latest work, I have really missed my crafting!!! I'm baaaccckkkkk ;) I have officially finished 09 birthday and Christmas - next project (besides general scrappy pictures) are Easter and Leslie's pages.... and honeymoon (yes a little late but still planning on it) plus....well you get the idea ;) I do have more layouts done that I will take pictures of :) and hopefully more to add.

This is my sister and me (and mom and dad) when we were little at my Grandma's house, it's fun to start more work on my sister's book :)

Happy 4th of July!!!

We started the celebration at the Houston festival...my gosh it was SOOOO hot and SOOOOO crowded! WOW!!! From there we went south to the boat for the fireworks.



Here was a neat picture I took at the festival... isn't it awesome how the clouds reflect in the glass of the building! Coolest picture I've ever taken (and it was with my phone camera LOL)

We celebrated with a YUMMY dinner and of course cake and ice cream. :) As usual, there was a helper for candle blowing and present opening :)

Mikayla made this for Michael :) I love seeing her writing progress :) she amazes me!

Some cousin fun!

This fella in the water.... he's about 40+ years old. We had so much fun laughing at him!! He still totally works and kicks and swims under water LOL. This was my brother-in-law's toy when he was little. They sure don't make toys like this anymore!

He did need some help getting back out again ;)

"Walk in" (instead of drive in) movie LOL - It was so nice to be outside (once it cooled off a bit) and watch a movie in total comfort :)

Picnic at school!!!

I absolutely love Mikayla's school. They not only take really good care of my little girl, and teach her.... they have a LOT of fun too. They hosted a family picnic and we had such a good time. My goodness it was HOT though.... 7:30 at night and still over 90 degrees....sitting out in the hot sun... the bouncy was the only shade the parents had LOL!! It was still a really good time and I'm so happy we went!

At the drive-in's

We took Mikayla to her first ever drive in. What a BLAST we had - well minus the part that she didn't much like the movie (Shreck 3 or whatever it is) she was very scared of some of the characters. But in typical Kirsten fashion - I photographed the event. It really was a lot of fun! We didn't stay for the 2nd movie becuase well it was almost 11:00 at night (too late for a 4 year old) and I really had no interest in it LOL....

um....camping or movie??
