Kemah Days.....

After our boat ride we drove over to Kemah to grab some dinner and a couple of rides. Little Miss is always good for a pose.

First ride was the Ferris wheel.

Michael is nervous about heights..... we started going up and I was able to capture his expression LOL...all for the love of a little girl!!!

Pelican Brief

We were out boating the other day and I'm so fascinated with the pelican's and watching them fly right above the water.... they are beautiful and so incredibly graceful...we were way out in the bay, almost to the ship channel and there they were, I started playing around with the zoom lens for my camera and here is what I captured.

I love this picture..... I can't believe I was able to capture this moment.... amazing!

Our camping excursion!

Do you remember how packed in we were last time we went camping.... it was seriously insane...we all barely had room to sit!!! Here is a refresher for you.......

NOT this time!!! This is what we did, we rented a Uhaul trailer to come with us.... we just couldn't pack it in like that again. :) So yes many comforts of home come with us but we sure have a good time!!!

Allie and Abbie got to come along this time. I forgot how much work it is bringing dogs camping!! Allie loves it, she is just happy to be along.....Abbie on the other hand was much happier either inside the gazebo or tent....

Good thing we didn't get mad at each other (or the dogs) we could easily turn into bait!!

Night time around the fire. I think someone was VERY tired at this point! (Allie or Mikayla??) hee hee. Allie loves sleeping around the campfire!

Abbie....not so much, she'd rather recline in style.....

We did a little fishing...the rascals were SMART, they ate our bait but not the hooks!!

Always have to have marshmallows!!!

And bike rides!!

um..... not sure this kiddo really is only 5 years old.... seriously....

We had a terrific time!!!! We are actually going to go again for the weekend in a couple weeks. We need to do it while the weather is good and before it gets too hot!!! Then we'll have to camp in air conditioning LOL!!!
