Happy Birthday!!!

Well it might not be what you think it might be....

 

Happy Birthday to our Bella!!  She turned 3!

 

I have never ever had a party for a pup before but Mikayla was pretty determined so I went with it.  Nothing that a trip to the dollar store can't fix.

 

 

She knew we were up to something.... she was trying to avoid us....

 

 

"maybe they won't see me if I look away"

 

 

"yup, it's working - they can't see me"

 

 

WE GOT HER!!

 

 

Oh please take it off..... LOL

The ice cream made it worth it :)  she was SOOOOO happy (Mikayla was SOOOOOOO happy).  My mother in law - thinks we're crazy....Michael thinks we're crazy.... but they played along nicely.

 

 

 

Abbie got in on the fun too, it was her first time for puppy ice cream.... fun, right!

 

 

 

 

 

 

Ahhhh all of that celebrating wore little puppy girl out.  She is the SWEETEST little gal ever!!!

We had a really great time!!!! 

 

It was everything we wanted... busy but not too busy,

Tons of food but not too much to make us BLECH

A bit of running around but not too much....

it was JUST right!

 

 

 

 

I adore the picture below of Mikayla....she is such a young lady now....it's AMAZING to see the person she's becoming and how incredibly faithful she is, beautiful inside and out, strong, smart and just AMAZING! 

 

 

 We had plenty of time before meeting Michael's family so we got to hangout and watch people shopping in the mall.... not too many of them were as happy as we were!  ha!

 

 

Those pictures were all I got from Christmas Eve.... I was just kind of in it...not observing it waiting for the next best picture.  It was WONDERFUL!

 

For the first time EVER.... like EVER I was waiting for Mikayla to come down... actually my Dad was up first, then me, then Michael.... we finally banged on the wall to wake up Mikayla and Nana....to get the party started!

 

Here is the video I was able to capture of Mikayla seeing her Santa gifts for the first time.  The ONE time I was prepared for her..... she was very calm and reserved... TYPICAL LOL!

 

We then took a few minutes to get cleaned up and some coffee.

It was perfectly perfect for us.  Very satisfying and fun and fantastic!!!

Some Christmas Crafty....

Mikayla LOVES making her Christmas gifts.  She did a really great job picking everything out.  She picked out the tshirts - the designs...I helped cut on cricut them- and then she ironed them on.

 

 

 

 

They turned out so good, I'm so proud of her.

 

 

One of the days, Mikayla and Tyler were up at the office...they sure found a way to keep themselves busy.  They made sock snowmen and reindeer food.  They kept themselves busy for the entire afternoon!!  They are so good anyway but they were REALLY good that day!

 

 

 

Serious business!!!

 

 

I really appreciate that my company is pretty flexible with kids.... we can bring them if we need to!  It's awesome!!!

School Christmas Program

Yikes!  How has the time sooooo totally escaped?  It's the craziest thing! We had fun at the Christmas program.  They are really perfecting how to keep the pace up so all 7 grades can sing a song or two, plus choir and special singers too....

The kids were WIRED UP!!!!  wow.  But they really did a great job and we had a lot of fun.

 

In the picture below....it's Mikayla's friend that we've know since the girls were 5..... the other girl used to be taller than Mikayla..... um..... WOW!

Oh my gosh, we had so much fun the day we went to all of our favorite places to take Mikayla's 11 year pictures.

 

 

We had our share of silliness and major laughs!!!

 

This marina in particular, she uses the cement barriers as her balance beam, she dances, twirls and jumps her way through!
