Oh my goodness!!

It seems like everything has been sooooo busy I haven't even had time to blog in awhile.  So I have a lot of catch up to do!

 

Mikayla officially started dance lessons with a dance studio near our house.  She loves it so much!  It is so great to see her continuing to learn more!

 

 

 

 

Our little swimmer has been teaching herself cartwheels and handstands in the water.

 

 

 

 

 

 

One Friday, at the last minute we were able to meet our cousin Chris, we went to one of my favorite restaurants that has all you can eat pickles!!  I was in heaven!!!  Then we visited the Water Wall.  That was a great time too, we were able to witness a family and friend gathering, we thought it was just a party.... a man pulled this group all together.. to propose to his girlfriend......  it was very touching! 

 

It was cool to be able to witness that!  WOW and how neat of him to make arrangements with their friends/family to come out to celebrate and watch too!

Little Flowers is back in session!

We had our first official meeting last Friday, it was so fun!

I'm telling you these girls were WILD that night.  Even Fr. Sean came down from his office when the noise was a dull roar.... to see what was going on down on our end of the hall.

 

Then on Sunday at mass we had the "blessing of the stems" (little flowers....stems) ceremony. 

 

 

 

It is just so nice for the girls to be recognized and acknowledged.  (now I just need to sew the whole season's worth of patches...whoops).  Mikayla is exceptionally excited that this is her school now too, she's beefing up with campus pride for sure!!

 

We're gearing up to have a group of up to 25 girls this year... so that will be fun!! 

 

Settling in

I guess we're settling back into a school routine.  I still can't believe Mikayla is in third grade and we can almost share shoes..... actually one pair of her school shoes do fit me!

 

She is fired up about school though, she loves her laptop and can't wait to do more projects/learning on it.

We had some cousin fun this weekend celebrating Ron's birthday!  Mikayla is quite the little mermaid.

 

 

 

 

Here's hoping the next few weeks move us out of transition back into routine and fun!
