Training for the Olympics

We went down to one of our favorite marinas to watch the boats for awhile, the day was so perfect out!!!  We really enjoyed ourselves....a lot!

 

Mikayla was training for the gymnastics beam.  She was dancing and doing cartwheels.... you name it.  I LOVE watching her imagination at work. She was getting mad that I wanted pictures so I had to sneak these.

Mikayla has been working really hard with her school work, it has been a LOT!  so one night after work was done...well it wasn't done but it was as done as it was going to be for the day...she needed to blow off some steam.

 

So, she danced....and danced and danced.  I was soooo excited that she wasn't too big to "dress up" for dancing (it's been awhile since she has).....  it was so fun and so cute and JUST what she needed.  Just what I needed too, to recognize that it can't all be just work. 

 

 

Whew....dog days of summer

At work we were allowed to bring our dogs one day.  It was SOOOO fun!!!  there were so many doggies here.  But to start with....look at these two little loves!!  They really love each other.  So I chose to bring Bella because I really think that the day would have been too much for our 14 year old Abbie... it was almost too much for Bella....LOL

 

 

Mikayla and I decided that we needed to see if Bella had an appropriate work outfit....

oh well, I didn't feel good about dressing her in a sweater when it is still 100 degrees outside.... so she came au natural.  (note - I have since added some pup clothes to Ms gift list....LOL)

ahhhh now she's discovered the joy of the see through gate.... yes she can jump right over this sucker but she actually didn't this day.  She sure didn't want to miss out on anything though.  She suffers from a severe case of CMOOA..... otherwise known as "can't miss out on anything...."

 

 

 

 

She caught a few cat naps throughout the day.

 

 

 

The president of the company gave all of the people a paw cookie and all of the dogs got a doggie cup of ice cream.  Bella was a pig!

 

 

 

Little bit more sleep.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 ahhh back home, she slept ALL evening..... she was tired!!!!  It was a lot of fun though.

 

 

Can't wait until the next one!

Stuck in the mud

well...yes.... stuck in the mud.

 

We had so much rain and it was too rainy to do much outside so we went to look at sheds for one that will someday be in our back yard.

 

and it was really raining too hard when we got to the shed place and when Michael went to turn around..... INSTANT one foot deep stuck in the mud....

 

REALLY.......

 

 

 

 

Enter vehicle number 2 that probably wasn't supposed to be where it was but wouldn't have been if we hadn't been where we weren't supposed to be.

 

 

 

Best line of the day from the tow driver.... "what were you doing back here, watching a movie"  LOL

 

 

 

it doesn't' look that bad but it was bad enough that there was NO hope of getting out by ourselves....

 

 

 

Suffice it to say we won't be buying a shed here.... LOL
