Scrap-a-thon Weekend

Wow what a busy weekend. I crafted to my hearts content and even with that I still long for more LOL - here is what I created. (ton of pics...sorry)

Embarassingly enough, here is my room after the work commenced, there was just no time to clean up after myself in the middle of it. I can't even begin to say how many hours I worked up there this weekend but I'm happy with how everything turned out.

Here are some pictures of my best gal from this past weekend. She has been calling me her "best friend" lately. I can't tell you how happy that makes me feel. I hope it is always this way.



Her first time ever for cotton candy. She didn't know what to think but at the end of tasting, she loved it!


Mirror image.... she is such a loving child and loves to give hugs and kisses - the mirror was readily available - LOL


The further her tongue sticks out - the more fun she's having!!! Right here on a scale of 1 to 10...this is a 10...... just imagine the laugh that is right behind that smile and tongue too!!!! She was running so fast (being chased by a boy.....) that I barely caught her on the camera... I have about 5 blank pictures before this one to prove it LOL.


She LOVES to help - especially if it entails dishes, soap and water!

New Layout

Here is my latest and greatest!!!

I've been scrapping again!!! yay!!!

We have been soooo busy lately. I can tell more what we're up to later but I had the week off from work and we worked on projects, did a lot of running around, went to the zoo, played at the park, slept in every day and stayed up too late every night (we're all night owls, even Mikayla). We loved every second of it. We all need more time like that... just time to stop and do what we want. Of course during the hectic pace we maintained, I managed to squeeze in a little bit of scrapping. Here are some of my latest pages.

I wish the picture reflected how much work this one actually was but I hand waffled the entire pink row underneath the ribbon in an accordion style to get the effect I wanted.

I absolutely love this page and am pretty proud of it. It was really fun doing something a little different and something completely just for me. It is inspiring me to want to do more scrapping of my wedding pages (or shall I say re-scrapping my wedding). I'm going to scrap our honeymoon first then back to the wedding... maybe.... I love that I'll never run out of pictures to play with.
