The rest of the weekend

It was a busy one for sure but oh so satisfying!  We were off on Friday for Mikayla's graduation and tea party, then we left and went to sleep on the boat, Saturday we had a GREAT time with Jason/Whit and kiddos and had a great ride.  Saturday we went back home so Mikayla could be presented her final flower girl patch at church and go to a birthday party.  Then after the party we went back down to the boat and had an AMAZING night/evening sail.  Then Monday we did some swimming/hanging out and headed home!  PHEW.... busy but oh so satisfying! 

I was able to capture some AMAZING sunset pictures.  It was absolutely perfect out!  Temperatures were great, wind was great...sights were AMAZING!

Really a fantastic weekend!  It was a great start to kick off the summer!

A Stem for a Little Flower

Sunday Mikayla was awarded her final patch for our Little Flower Girls program.  She went in front of the congregation after church to receive it from Father Sean, along with the other little girls and the Blue Knights (that's the boys program).  

 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 

Then of course we had to pose outside for some pictures. 

I am so glad we joined this group and I look forward to our next session.  I'm sure I'll feel as hectic then as I did this year, trying to get there on time but that's OK, it's totally worth it!!  She had a lot of fun with it too.

Some great cousin time!!

We met up with Jason and Whitney for lunch and some fun on Saturday.  Mikayla LOVES holding baby Conner.  She was so proud to be holding him.  She even told Whitney that I said that she'll be a great Momma one day because she's so careful with babies.

Jason decided to climb the tree.....

Here are three sailors.  Mikayla and Bryce took turns being the captain.  Every time we hit a big wave, Bryce blew the whistle (literally) and Mikayla made some announcement on the intercom (imaginary of course).

Bryce drove for awhile.  He didn't like being downstairs when we tacked (turned)....the sails and hardware were too loud for him.  Mikayla on the other hand, set herself up a bed downstairs and got in it and took a 30 minute power nap (very unusual for her) but I guess she was just exhausted!



We played a lot of I-spy, guess who, read books....well we just had a great ride, a great time, GREAT company!  We are so happy they came out with us!!

Jason went from boats to planes (he was going to fly a plane the next day - I can't wait to hear how that went).

After Graduation

After Mikayla's graduation and class party, we went to one of her most favorite places :)  We went for a tea party!!!  Michael and my dad were good sports about it (I forgot to order their drinks in tea cups too...oh well, next time).  We're on our way!

Yay!!!!  She was SO excited when she saw where we were!!!!  We started her school year here and ended it here!!

We gave her a new dress to wear, she loved it!!! 

We had to put it on right then!!  Seriously....RIGHT then!!!  So she finished her tea party in style (vs. uniform) hee hee

She really enjoyed herself!!! 

Such a FUN place to go!!   A special place for a special gal!!!
