Last day of 6th Grade!

Whew!  A lot of time has gone by since I blogged last.  I have no reason other than I guess I just didn't have much to say LOL - so I may not go backwards all the way but might just do some fill in posts.

So I'm starting at the end.  The end of the 6th grade.  Mikayla had her best year ever.  She has great friends, did well academically - it felt like she was able to get it all together.  Best teachers ever! I could go on and on but suffice it to say we are both in mourning about the year being over. She just really rocked it this year!

Here is her first and last day comparison....

I love the fun picture below.

In the two pictures below she was presented her academic awards.

Our beloved Mr. D.  I wish we could have him for home-room again next year but at the very least "we" will have him for theology.

Fr. Sean - The man, the myth, the legend right here.

Principal C - he has changed the school in so many ways, it was pretty great before but it's even more so now.

There we have it - the end of the year.  Below Mikayla is with some of her very best friends and they were all going out to celebrate the last day of school together (even though Mikayla wasn't happy it was the last day LOL).

So just like that.... our baby had her first day of middle school.... I think I'm going to live in denial for awhile that she's growing up on me so fast.

She got in the car after her first day and said "this is going to be a great year!"  she is FIRED up!!!!!

Summer crafty time

Summer started with me making the "spirit shirts" for the cheer team (a total of 13 of them), that was AWESOME!!!!  I really loved making them.

Since I'm officially a cheer mom....I'm jumping right in...I decorated all of the cheer bows too!  OMG that was a labor of love but I am SOOOOOO happy with how they turned out.

Here they are in progress....
