Four years ago!

WOW!

 

Four years ago we went on vacation to Arkansas.  This is our fourth vacation there (dare we way we love it there).  Each time we've gone we have stayed someplace different. 

 

Four years ago..... how fast time goes.  We were there in August of 2010 and this time was July of 2014.

awwwww - my baby!!!!  Not such a baby any more!!!  We seem to have a trend, we were there in 2001, September 2005, August 2010, July 2014!  Mikayla says we need to go back when she's 12 years old to stay in cabin 12!

 

I think we can arrange that!

We did a lot of exactly what we wanted to.  It really was a fun and relaxing vacation.  We made it a point that we wanted to do something or not have to do anything.  No agenda!  That is what made it amazing!!  (well one of the hundred reasons it was amazing)

A little boat action!

It has been so hectic that I haven't been able to finish posting all of Lake Catherine, so here are a few more pictures to show.

 

Our little goof ball in our little boat.

 

(see my hand made bench - the ones that came with the boat took up too much room so we concocted this plan with the bench and that gave us room to put all of our stuff underneath)

It seems so long ago that we were there!  Time sure is going fast!

Our swimming hole...

Well here is one of them, this was literally out the back door of our cabin- it was GREAT fun!   It was cccccold too!  The water temp was around 70 degrees up the lake a bit it was 50 degrees, so those people came down to the "hot springs"  ha!

 

 

 

 

Now that we're back and in the 110 degree weather that feels like it's 200 degrees - this is pretty darn refreshing!

Gosh it was SO fun to be there!!!  I miss it!

 

 

She did not ever want to get out of the water.  She was so happy to stay in there for HOURS even before she found her new little friends!

 

 

There were two little girls in the cabin next to ours!  How fun right!  Mikayla did cry when it was time to leave them.

 

 

 

 

 

It was so fun to watch them invent what they wanted to do.

 

 

Bless their hearts!  They wanted Mikayla up on that island SO bad but she didn't know how to get into it...they helped and helped and helped!  Finally they found another way.... up through the little hole that was in the net.... then they all started using that entry.  HA!

 

 

 

ahhhhh I love it there, have I mentioned that before?
