Crazy Hair day!!!!!

Well....I guess we got a little crazy and went for the girl Mohawk of hair...... including the pink hair spray.

 

 

Mikayla loved it, however when we walked into school - NONE of the other kids did it..... she was bumming but then recovered and said oh well, at least I got to participate!

 

 

well none of the kids that were there.... they did come in and have their hair done crazy.  Mikayla won though... they all LOVED it just as much as we did.

 

 

Trying to be serious.... it just doesn't work with that crazy hair!  LOL

 

 

Total time spent.... less than 5 minutes, now THAT I love!!!

Ohhhhh how fun this was!!  Seriously FUN!!  American Girl had a red carpet premiere announcing and releasing their new movie about Isabelle, their girl of the year.

 

We started doing a quick "mirror" craft.

The little girls really got into it too!!  They were ready to watch the movie too.

 

 

I can say it's another excellent AG product!!  I love the movies!!  They always solve what is/could be a real life problem and it shows possible ways to handle it.  So it's real but not.... it's good!!! I loved every second of being there for the movie!

 

 

 

Four years ago!

WOW!

 

Four years ago we went on vacation to Arkansas.  This is our fourth vacation there (dare we way we love it there).  Each time we've gone we have stayed someplace different. 

 

Four years ago..... how fast time goes.  We were there in August of 2010 and this time was July of 2014.

awwwww - my baby!!!!  Not such a baby any more!!!  We seem to have a trend, we were there in 2001, September 2005, August 2010, July 2014!  Mikayla says we need to go back when she's 12 years old to stay in cabin 12!

 

I think we can arrange that!

We did a lot of exactly what we wanted to.  It really was a fun and relaxing vacation.  We made it a point that we wanted to do something or not have to do anything.  No agenda!  That is what made it amazing!!  (well one of the hundred reasons it was amazing)

It has been so hectic that I haven't been able to finish posting all of Lake Catherine, so here are a few more pictures to show.
