Photo shoot at the park

Well, I will confess that I have a ridiculous amount of pictures from our outing to the park (there are a ton on here, please know there are at least 50 more that didn't make the blog cut, hee hee. I just can't seem to help myself when photographing a certain, wonderful little girl. I think she has fun too.

Here she brought her umbrella for some shade from the sun and me playing with b/w settings.

What is a photo shoot without some funny faces - here's the face she gives her daddy when she wants something and the answer is no .....

Here is her monkey mouth...LOL cracks me up every time

ahhhh a nice one :)

Snoozing for a minute

Please daddy......

I am so sweet....

Ballet on the bench

Check Spelling

Kisses to my adoring public..........

Jumping off the bench.... this was fun...we were laughing so hard.... she may or may not have been laughing so hard that she fell off of it at one point.... which may or may not have lead to even more laughing..... (no injuries were incurred during this event)

Now for the swings..... yes I know she's getting to big for the "baby" swings... but that's all this park has.... she's good with it....so I am too :)

Labor Day Fun!!

We really had a great weekend. Nothing we really set out to do...did we do for one reason or another but it was still fabulous!!! The weather seemed like it was one extreme to another, still hot but it was either too windy to sail (weird on a sail boat, right- we just don't take any chances especially with Mikayla on board).... or it was a bit ominous....

We still went to the boat, hung out, had picnics, went swimming and played outside to our hearts content!! Our days were full of fun and happiness!!!

Always a princess...hee ehe

Mikayla's new monkey mouth....

Oh YEA...can't you just see her snapping a "Z"

Not exactly sure what she was looking at here... could be a she was having a "moment"....

Cheesie grin

I saw the best ballet program ever.... on a picnic table bench... complete with singing too :)

The backdrop for the ballet.... ahhhhhh sooooo nice!

oh and the ominous weather I was talking about.... this is a storm we literally were racing home to stay out of....

Scrappy Layouts

I thought I'd go ahead and post the layout's I've done over the last couple weekends. I don't have as much time in my crafty world as I'd like but I still go visit :)

Bubbles Baby!!!!

We had some serious bubble action in the tub last night, I gave Mikayla the wash cloth with the body soap on it (cucumber melon to be specific) and she washed up, then after awhile she asked for the jets to be turned on....(she's been nervous about the jets to date) we had bubble mania from just that small amount of soap!! It was a blast, I love love love making my little girl happy :)

This face cracks me up :)

Do you see the fishing pole on the right side of the tub.... under all the bubbles are at least a dozen plastic fish to catch ;) along with a mermaid, cow and a sail boat.... LOL

Soooo happy!!!!

Swim Fun!

Here is our little sea creature :) Such FUN times!!!!

Jonathan jumped right when I snapped the picture.... oops!! LOL such a funny picture....

School Days

Well the first (and a half) week of Kindergarten is over, Mikayla is doing really well, we are going through our "normal" adjustment period (she needs some extra attention when changes take place). The teachers at her school are awesome, they really take good care of her and totally seem to understand she needs a little extra TLC right now, if her track record holds, we'll have one more week of adjustment then be back to normal. I've decided that change is hard for little people. She's doing good though :) Here are some pictures from this morning, I love love love her uniforms, she's very into tucking her shirt in now, yesterday she did it all by herself at school, I was so surprised when I picked her up.

Here she is seeing what's for breakfast hee hee...
