What a ride!!!

We went down to the boat on Saturday and my gosh it was the most perfect day EVER!!! We had such a good time. Little miss is still excited about it.

Here's Captain Mike getting us under way.

Hi Mom...and seriously.... do you have to take a pic of me all the time? ;)

She is such a goof ball!! I love it!!! :) some day bribery pictures.....

Captain Kirsten

Beautiful day!!!

I am going to play with my "sooper zoom" lenses one of these days and get some great pelican pictures!

Here is my little day dreamer - she really enjoyed being out in the open ocean air after not having been there in so long. (These are not "posed" pictures....)

I love this picture.... she is such a sweetie!!! Don't you wonder what she's thinking?

I LOVE when we see the shrimp boats out here... several reasons - one being they just fascinate me...they belong in the movies...and yet, here they are.

but my really real favorite reason when we see the shrimp boats is because of the following series of pictures.... do you see them yet?

Look closely!

I LOVE when the dolphins come! I don't know who was more excited....Mikayla or me!!! I happened to be driving when we saw them, it's a good thing no one was in front of us because I was watching the dolphins!!!

Here Michael is teaching Mikayla how to understand and "read" the wind vang.... (it's the two arrows on the top of the mast to determine where the wind is coming from, which you have to know in order to sail the boat correctly)

Sun is setting, time to head back in.....I love this picture though.

OH MY GOSH.....there was a shark behind us..... (hee hee)

Thanks for looking, have a great week!

Church Festival

You KNOW it's going to be a good festival when the beer truck is right by the entrance!! LOL We went to the festival where my sister-in-law, her mom, and Nathalie were working at one of the booths. We really had a great time even without visting the "Beer Garden".

Here Nathalie is going Mikayla's nails for her. Their booth was called "Spa-La-La" hair dos, nails, temporary tattoos...all that fun girly stuff!

Then we went to the face painting booth.... they really do a fantastic job! It was more like face chalk compared to the nasty thick paint... (it was however hard to wash it all off...bath, shower, make up remover later...she still had orange around her eyes....It's mostly gone now though LOL)
Here's our Fall Butterfly :)

Here is a very sad butterfly when we had to leave :(

oh good, we're happy again, nothing like just sitting on the hood for a moment to find a smile!

Miniature horses :)

We went to a miniature horse farm this weekend. There are three nuns that run it, they have sold the farm and are selling the little horses because they're getting too old to run it now, one is 95, one 93 and the youngest of the group is 89. So they were having their last ever fall fest. We had fun, not too many people were there when we were but it was a good time.

Here is what is on the gate when you first come in.

The horses really were very sweet.

They had a fire truck there :)

Some fun little games to earn tickets for prizes

Fun little cart ride.

It was a great fun filled day :) I love fall, it's not too hot to go do things like this!!

Some Scrappy Goodness!

It felt GREAT to sneak some time for my crafty world!! My pictures aren't as pretty as they are in real but I just couldn't get good lighting inside at work where I took them. LOL

This LO was a blast to make, I used the program that we bought at the circus to embellish it.

I adore this LO, I might shadow box frame it to enjoy it...

This LO was a lot of fun, it was such a great day, I ditched work to go to the Aquarium restaurant downtown :) it ROCKED!!! Great times!

Here is my little singer, the next two actually go together the full title is "Sing Baby Girl" and that is EXACTLY what she was doing!

Thanks for looking :)
