Happy Easter

 

 We did our annual egg dying!  OH it is so fun!!!!  We do make too many but they sure are fun to do!!  This batch was my all time favorite batch!!!  Not only because they're emoji's but because the dye itself was so vibrant!!!!

you guessed it.... there is a secret egg in the bunch..... the wonderful incredible non edible RAW egg....I can't WAIT to hear how it goes when my dad smacks it anticipating the hardboiled egg...and it's raw.... 

 

hee hee hee....so bad....so so bad.  I know....I know...but I can't help myself!!!

 

 

 

Just the thought of it makes me cry laugh like below LOL!!

 

 

 

 

Here they are!!!!!  our friendly eggie bunch - I hate to smash them now...

 

 

We started our Easter morning at church with the whole family!  It was really fantastic being together and it was a great service too. 

 

 

here is Mikayla and D..... I can't believe how tall the girls are getting, so grown up!

EGG HUNT!  These kids were SOOOO into hunting the eggs!! They were all running! and running and running to find them.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Next came confetti eggs..... Mikayla was going in for the run and smash....

It was a FANTASTIC day!!!!!

 

 

Happy Easter!

Camp time!!!

Mikayla has been looking forward to camp and dreading camp SOOOO much.  She has been much more clingy which is great for a mommas heart until she can't lift her arm or move AT ALL to do something without literally having an attached kiddo in the way....but it's all good, I love the extra I've been getting from her!

 

I made these chapstick holders for her little cabin mates.  She liked that she had something to give them.

 

 

I got these suitcase bags to put her stuff in... they were AMAZING.... it provided her a rummage free zone - all of her day clothes in one, pjs in another and so on.... it was FANTASTIC!

 

This is it - a weeks worth of clothing, shoes and PJs.....

 

In the pink bag (the dirty clothes bag) - was her pillow, towels and sleeping bag.

Traveling in style!

 

 

they were waiting for about 10 minutes outside to get on the bus before they got clearance to get in.... and when they did... every.single.one.of.them screamed chargeeeeee to get in there.  The teacher was like wait wait wait.....  yikes!

 

 

so they were all buckled in and waiting for about 20 minutes or so... LOL... just waiting.....

 

 

I was so happy that one of the moms that chaperoned is a friend...she sent me pictures!

 

 

They had a great time!  She was dreading it fiercely and was so happy when it was over.... but had such a great time!!! 

 

Next year they go again to a different camp...she said no to me chaperoning again....which is actually ok, I don't think that's how I want to spend my vacation off of work...that is NOT a vacation.  I'm so thankful some people do it though :)
