JJ and Mikayla played and played and played!  I really think they enjoyed each others company so much.  I love that she is developing relationships with her cousins, just like I did growing up!!! 

Beachy Days!

I will let the pictures speak for themselves. Every day started like this "hum, should we start at the beach or pool"...."well I think beach then pool, then back to beach then pool"..... "ok, sounds like a great plan"

The rest of the family arrives

We met up with everyone at a super cool restaurant called FudPuckers.  Totally fun, the kids even got to write on the walls with a sharpie marker.

While we were waiting for our food, this is what the kids found....

After lunch Michael and I went over to their condo and took the kids down to the beach.... oh remember the whole, taking a kid to the beach no matter what they're wearing thing we went through with Mikayla...well..same thing happened LOL  JJ got SOAKED!!!  Nat did too but was able to show some restraint.  hee hee

Mikayla was more prepared today and had her swimsuit on!

Notice Mikayla's beads...she says, "every princess wears her jewels to the beach...." um...ok princess :)

Good times!!

Our journey begins :)

We started out after work on Friday night, we wanted to drive to the half way point before we stopped for the night.  So we did just that...granted we didn't stop until 2:00 am....but whatever.  We hit the trail again about 7:30 after some really good sleep and a shower!

Around 9:30 or so we stopped at Stake and Shake for some breakfast and a break :)  Michael saw the hats that the cooks were wearing and asked if we could have some.

A few hours later..... ahhhhhhh we MADE IT!!!!!  Our room wasn't ready yet so we went ahead and went to the beach, there was no holding us back. 

Take a kid to a beach... um...with or without a swim suit.... well, they're getting wet...and you know what, we're on vacation so we don't care!!!!!  She was SOAKED but what fun we had.  I wasn't about to tell her just to look at the water.  Just look at her face....that says it all! We even started our sea shell collection.

In the picture below, our building is the one to the far left, we were on the harbor side - front row viewing!

We started our exploration of the area.  Mikayla and I went and walked through the Warf Village.

Of course stopped to take a dip in the pool.

AAAHHHHH Spring Break!!

I have a ton of pictures to sort through but I can start with these :)  We went to Destin last week and can I say how totally and completely amazing it was.  Between Michael, Mikayla and me - we can't decide at all what was our favorite part because it was all our favorite!!!! 

This is what I imagine Isle Esme to be like...Isle Esme is a location from a book series I have a slight obsession with.
