Around 9:30 or so we stopped at Stake and Shake for some breakfast and a break :) Michael saw the hats that the cooks were wearing and asked if we could have some.
A few hours later..... ahhhhhhh we MADE IT!!!!! Our room wasn't ready yet so we went ahead and went to the beach, there was no holding us back.
Take a kid to a beach... um...with or without a swim suit.... well, they're getting wet...and you know what, we're on vacation so we don't care!!!!! She was SOAKED but what fun we had. I wasn't about to tell her just to look at the water. Just look at her face....that says it all! We even started our sea shell collection.
Here is part of the hotel where we're staying. It is soooo amazingly beautiful!
In the picture below, our building is the one to the far left, we were on the harbor side - front row viewing!
We started our exploration of the area. Mikayla and I went and walked through the Warf Village.
Found a playground.
Of course stopped to take a dip in the pool.
