We got all Tangled up!!!!

Mikayla and I went to Disney on Ice on Sunday afternoon.  We had SOOOO much fun!  I loved it as much as she did.  It was a blast!  While waiting for it to start, we did a self picture :)

They did three programs for us, the first one is the Princess and the Frog.  The costumes were incredible.  Sound system was awesome...and living what happens in the movies.... wow!!

There's the Shadow Man....

The next story is the Cinderella story - Mikayla was vibrating with excitement.... she is Cinderella after all.  She has loved her the most, since the very beginning.  She still adores Cinderella.

 

Next was the story that we live daily too..... Rapunzel... Mikayla makes a great Rapunzel.  Here comes Flynn.

The floating lanterns.... this part of the show.... Mikayla brought me to tears with how enraptured she was seeing the lanterns, she was amazed and in complete awe.  I truly believe she was seeing herself in the movie.... as it is in the movie when Rapunzel was seeing the lanterns for the first time.... it was an awesome moment in time, time froze - just for this moment, where I watched her live something that was so spectacular and amazing to her.  I think I was looking at her when I snapped this picture, I couldn't bear to look away from her.  She also captured the mother/daugher that were seated next to us, she brought them into her story that was taking place, and she was singing the songs as they played.... it was serioulsy WOW.

 

The fireworks were great!!!  It was so pretty!!!

All of the princesses were represented. 

I don't know who enjoyed it more.... we had a really great time.  I was driving and blindly took this picture.... she was OUT for the count!!!

Little Flower Girls and Drill Dance Team

We started our weekend by going to our Little Flower Girls club at church.  I really do enjoy it and it has been fun in spite of the rushing around to get there. 

Here is Mikayla on our way in. (this picture of the church makes it look sort of wow...big) (I mean I know it's big but it's bigger here and that's not even the whole building LOL) (this is the back side).

Here she is working on her cross sun catcher :)  We only have two more meeting for this year, it'll start again sometime in August/September.  She has already told me that she wants to do it again :)  yay!!  I hope that we have a lot of the girls come back again!

So after our late evening out on Friday night, Saturday morning, bright and early we were at the local high school for Mikayla to participate in the drill team dance clinic.  It went from 8:30 am to 2:00 pm and then the girls performed for their parents.  This is her third time doing this clinic, I would say she enjoys it and has fun!

Afterwards, she and I went to a nice leisurely lunch and just enjoyed each others company.  We were not in a hurry.  I love times like this. We then went home and played and played.  The time sure went fast.  We found some new hide and seek spots, she wouldn't have found me one of the times if the dogs didn't give me away, next time they're going outside - competitive much?  LOL

I know I say it a lot but really, I'm so grateful to have this little girl in my life.  She is truly appreciated, loved and cherished!!! 

We ran out of time to do everything we wanted to do but having fun sure is fun!!! 

TOOTH FAIRY!!!!! SHE CAME!!!

Mikayla was so excited, her tooth fell out at school.  She was eating her hard boiled egg at lunch and there it was.  So she got to get a necklace in the shape of a tooth that was actually a container to hold her lost tooth. 

So when I picked her up at school, she didn't show me right away, so I signed her out and then I said...well.... and as I was saying that, she opened wide and I saw it!!!  *sniff sniff*  So exciting but wow *sniff sniff*

So remember her room switch-a-roo.... well back when she moved rooms, we came up with a plan to inform the tooth fairy where she was now.  So we made some signs....guiding the way to her new room.  There are six signs in all....

Then Mikayla put out a trail for her to follow "just in case".....

Seriously, it took about 30 minutes to get "ready" for her to come.....

awww sleeping at last.

SHE CAME.....SHE CAME......... Little miss woke up to check and it was about 1:25ish when she came down to say she came.  Michael told her to shush...LOL.... so she went back upstairs and brought down what the tooth fairy brought her and had me read the note she brought. Then she went back up to see if the tooth fairy took her tooth.....she did....

Silly fairy, she leaves her fairy dust all over the place :) 

I would imagine she had a quick tea party with our friends. 

The door is back!!!  Mikayla noticed it's hot pink now too instead of soft pink... I might need to work on that LOL 

She even moved the balloons on the trail she was flying so fast. 

"I have the best tooth fairy EVER!!!"   I love hearing that!!!  Mikayla is so much fun to do things for!

We were all trying to go back to sleep and Mikayla was informing me that she figured out where the fairy dust that the tooth fairy spreads around comes from.... I said, where?  She said, well she takes all the children's teeth and grinds them up to make the fairy dust to spread around.....  um..... o.k.   She then shed a few tears because she just really wanted to see her.... awwwww....I am not kidding, I think she was really up for over an hour thinking about all of this.

I LOVE the TOOTH FAIRY!!!!

The TOOTH FAIRY is coming again!!!!!

Now really, who was waiting longer??? I'm not sure (between her and me) but WOOO HOOOO!!!  And yes, I took those pictures every day..... for almost 2 weeks..... for that very loose tooth!!!  I wanted that "this is the last picture with my tooth" picture....well it took a LONG time!!!  It started getting loose back in February!  

*sniff sniff* I do admit to a few tears...my baby is growing up on me so fast!!! 

What happens when......

It is Easter time......

You have dogs.......

You buy chocolate bunnies for Easter baskets.....

You hide them in the closet......

and forget that the door is open.....

Our dog Allie is in BIG trouble....

She ate the suckers, the individually wrapped gummy bunnies, 2 chocolate bunnies, 1 small bag of M&Ms, jelly beans.... you get the picture!

OH.MY.GOSH.

She was so sick...she ruined our Easter baskets and was SO sick.... UGH!!!!!!!  

Note to self... find better hiding spots!  I really just never thought she would do that!!!   



Thank goodness, she's ok now.

Thank goodness, Mikayla didn't figure out what was going on with the Easter bunny stuff because that dog REALLY would have been in trouble then!!!!  I know that she'll find out one day but I really don't want the dog to be the one to tell her!

oh and thank goodness Easter really wasn't ruined because of the baskets LOL!!!  It took me awhile to come up with being thankful for that because well, I was MAD!
