Well - the time came.

The time came....

 

it was met with some happiness

that tried to be disguised as not being happy

but secretly seriously happy

until the time really came

 

but our little miss has glasses now.

 

She wanted them SOOOOO bad until she had to get her eyes dilated to make sure she really needed them.  Turns out she really really did need them.  She only needs them for the school day/reading/working.  Not for play and other times - hopefully she'll get used to them. 

 

We got her two pair (just in case...we have one as a back up and/or just changing it up whenever she gets tired of one pair, she can switch to the other).

 

I wish the colors showed up better but her first pair is a brown wire frame with designs on the sides and the second pair is a very pretty blue Harley Davidson pair with a white stripe down the side. 

 

So she's happily pretending to be unhappy about the new specs.... and she's seriously obsessed with cleaning them! 

 

 

 

So there we have it 100% of all people on both sides of our immediate families have needed glasses.... I guess the trend continues!  Hopefully it'll be a long time until she has to wear them all the time.

 

Ack she looks so grown up!  WAAAAAAAA
