Graduation!!!

After the church service the graduation started.  So here is our girl in line to go get her diploma.  She was really clapping for all of her friends that went before her. 

YAY!!  It's really official, she's a 1st grader now (well will be in the new school year).

The kids all went back to their rooms for their class party while the ceremony continued in the church for the bigger kids to receive all of their year end awards.

Mikayla and Ryan... ;) 

Here is Mikayla with our beloved Ms. V.  - Mikayla cried almost every day during the week at the thought of the changes coming up. She also knew she wasn't going to see her beloved teacher any more because she's going to a different school next year.  We are so very sad to see her go and wish her all the best in the future. 

The funniest comment of the day.... Mikayla informed us that 1st graders talk a lot more..... um... wow!!!!  (because the chatter is all day now....) I really don't know how more commentary can be fit in....so we'll see ;)  So far...she's right though...I love hearing it!!! 

She is very excited now!  I really have noticed a HUGE difference in her.  Especially if I think back to the beginning of the school year.  It is amazing the difference a year makes.  She's really growing up!!
